Once when I was a kid we were all given this pamphlet about playing on train tracks (we did live near them). It was actually a little book of stories. They all started with kids playing on train tracks. They all ended with the kid dead. I still remember it to this day. It was awesome.

One of the stories, about a girl named Joy, ended with the line “Joy’s family is no longer joyful.”
